TWO DAY COURSE
This
course is aimed at any of you Media Professionals who’ve ever had a
great idea. Have you left an idea in your bottom drawer because you
don’t know how to turn them into a TV programme or series? Or maybe
you’ve been too scared to show your idea around the industry because
you’re convinced that both you and that idea will get ripped off. Well,
worry no more…
Over the course of two day long workshops and
additional mentoring sessions, run by a long-established and
experienced media practitioner, this Skillset Academi+ course helps you
to confront your fears over your intellectual property. The course
suggests different methods of promoting your project, enabling you to
decide when to condense your idea into a single paragraph, and when
it’s better to expand the idea into a complete programme bible.
You’ll
also learn how to identify the Next Big Thing, and understand why
commissioners fall in love with some concepts, and bounce back other
ideas. As you pitch, promote and protect your ideas, you’ll learn and
use Tips and Techniques from the Media Toolbox that will hopefully
progress your idea from flash of inspiration to final commission.
