A seven-month course designed to introduce new entrants to cross-platform media production, equipping them with the skills to create a portfolio of ideas and interactive projects. Whilst majority funded by Skillset’s TV Freelance Fund, Skillset Academi+’s involvement enabled 14 participants from Wales to join 24 others from across the UK. The course takes in Sheffield Doc/Fest, seminars at University of Wales Newport, a residential lab in Gregynog and pitching sessions in London, alongside e-learning modules and a work placement.
