This course is for anyone who is expecting to manage financial resources, interpret financial data and interact with accountants in their day to day roles. It demystifies the language of the accountant and provides an understanding of (and the ability to interpret) accounts (financial statements and budgets).

 

The course will look at the following areas:

Cash versus Profit: the key differences

Cash budgeting and its relevance to business planning

Actual cash flow versus budgeted cash flow

Gaining and granting credit: managing this process

Using credit rating agencies

Using credit references

Analysis of accountants: liquidity & key cash ratios
